Sigh... Should I not even bother putting money into my account? Should I just directly hand it over to the makeup gods?
The Meteorites is always the star of the show, and this year is no different. The Meteorites Powder for the Face and Decollete, or Meteorites Perle des Neiges, is stunning, and it better be for $80.00 for 1 oz. This is larger than last year's powder with a price tag to match. But you have to understand the thing with Meteorites, you either get it or you don't. Now, you may think this is some life changing powder, and it isn't. This is meant to be a finishing powder, not a highlight. They have a subtle blurring effect, much like my beloved Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders.
This pearl-white bauble is filled with the iconic Météorites illuminating powder pearls that enhance your face and décolletage. The pearls are made of light-reflecting, iridescent pearly particles that leave skin looking radiant with an illuminating glow. Beige evens out skin tone, champagne illuminates and golden gives a sun-kissed effect. The pearls are delicately fragranced with violet notes.
How to use: Use a brush to apply evenly to the entire face for an illuminating glow. For a greater boost of radiance, highlight the cheekbones and other prominent parts of the face. For best results, trace a "G" from the center of your forehead toward the top of your cheekbones then from the bridge of the nose toward your chin.
The Meteorites Voyage Enchante Illuminating Matte Powder is just gorgeous. Now make sure your sitting down. These bad boys go for $179.00. Yup. You read that right. Tissue? While this does look like a buttery smooth finishing powder, it has a hefty price tag. And is one powder worth $179.00? Well, it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it, so yes, because there will be people who will buy this. For me, I think I'll pass.
Guerlain's limited-edition, refillable Météorites Voyage Enchanté diminishes shine and illuminates the skin, instantly reducing the appearance of fine lines and blemishes. The compact is dressed up with the iconic Météorites design and opens to reveal a white powder beautifully adorned with a Swiss dot motif. It's also delicately fragranced with violet.
How to use: Wear the powder alone or over foundation. Using a brush, apply evenly to the entire face to fix makeup and improve hold.
Gosh, so far I'm just such a sucker for packaging! Can I just buy the packaging for everything? Seriously. Guerlain and YSL have such gorgeous packaging! Guerlain's Rouge G de Guerlain lipstick is just gorgeous, and is only slightly more expensive than their regular lipsticks at $55.00. It looks like the shade 62 Georgia is an MLBB. This looks incredibly hydrating and very easy to apply!
Rouge G de Guerlain Collector is a fresh and luminous rosy shade of lipcolor capable of flattering all skin tones. Its formula is a unique combination of ruby powder for spectacular radiance, hyaluronic acid spheres for perfectly smoothed lips and wild mango butter for lasting hydration. The light, delicate scent of a vanilla floriental leaves its incomparable mark on Rouge G de Guerlain.
How to use: Apply directly to lips daily or, for a more sophisticated look, apply using a brush after outlining the lip contour.
