We had the rental car this weekend and we made the most of it, going all the way to the far reaches of Coney Island! We hadn't been back since one trip when we first moved up here. And we have yet to be here during the summer! This was such a fun trip, I'm so glad we came even though it was pretty chilly!
Of course we had to eat at the original Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs! And yes, I did get a corn dog and it was delicious. I normally don't like thick fries but with the cheese, these were great! No ragrets. #werethemillers
Matt and I went on the ferris wheel and we picked the moving cart which was pretty fun. It's definitely a must if you have the time! You get to go around twice which is nice!
Next up was the Cyclone- a legend and a favorite for many! I choose not to go on it because I think we had just had a snack and I didn't want to go on it because I remember it being really bumpy! Matt went on and said there were no smooth parts left of it, even though they had just finished refurbishing it! I'm glad I didn't go!
There were so many fun carnival rides but a lot of them involved spinning which I am not a fan of anymore! Gosh I'm old! But they were so fun to watch!
Matt played the game Ghost Hunter and it was so fun! Matt's a pretty good shot so of course he got all the targets. And here's a fun fact about Matt you probably didn't know- he was on a professional paint ball team in high school. So if you ever have the option to play laser tag or paint ball with him, don't. He actually played laser tag at his bachelor party at an outdoor area!
Then after we watched all the rides and did a few, we walked around the boardwalk which was nice in itself. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Even though it was quite chilly, we made the best of it and are so glad we went back!
