After therapy, there is a little Japanese quick service restaurant Cafe Zaiya around the corner right across from the New York Public Library. I stopped in to grab lunch and eat it at home and was really happy to see a lot of variety there!
I ended up picking out a Don Katsu bento box and a Sakura Pudding!
Sadly, I didn't get a picture of the Katus without the lid on, but it was pretty good! I liked the rice (of course!), the pickled veggies, and the seaweed salad! The pudding was so amazing! It had a cake layer under the top layer and it was just amazing! It was the right amount of sweetness, not too heavy, just really great! If you're visiting the library, please make your way over there for a little treat! And when the weather gets warmer, they have some nice icy treats!
