Matt and I were wandering around and ended up near Koreantown in Manhattan so I hurried him off to Bunn for some little fried dough shaped like fish, delimanjoo! Since we had eaten already, we didn't get any steamed buns but don't worry, we'll get some another time so I can tell you all about it!
When you go inside, it's like a mini food court with lots of different stalls offering all their yummy treats! Don't be intimated by it, just walk in and order the yumminess! I am a fan of the Japanese taiyaki and haven't had the Korean delimanjoo in a long time! When Anne was visiting she popped in and grabbed a bag full and we snacked on them the rest of the day! It brought back such good memories when my family and I were in Korea back in 1998!
Matt opted for the sprinkle chocolate ones and they were tasty! I like just the plain ones but these were just as tasty! If you're ever in need of a pick me up and are around ktown, do yourself a favor and pop into Bunn! And it's even great if you want a little sweet ending to some dolsot bibimbap a few stores down!
